Vacation Bible School
Summer 2023
Who: Elementary school age children (ages 5-10) will be the focus of Vacation Bible School (“VBS”) at St. Mark’s Presbyterian Church. Church membership is not a requirement to participate. Participants will be sought through word of mouth, advertising on the church sign, and mailings.
What: VBS will be a weeklong Christian fellowship held during the week of June 19th.
The theme for the week will be “Make Waves”, where children will learn how what they do today can change the world around them. Children will learn that when they put their trust in Jesus, they can “make waves” because of His Spirit living inside of them. Through fun activities, engaging lessons, and God’s Word, the children will explore what it means to “make waves” in their own lives that will influence the people around them. This theme will be used to creatively adapt to teachings from the Bible.
